NEWSLETTER 003/08 - March Activities 

Lima, March 7th, 2008

 Dear Parents, 

We would like to start by thanking you for your cooperation throughout the registration process, done through the Internet and during the meeting with your son’s/daughter’s homeroom teacher on February 28^th and 29^th. 

We have many interesting plans for the different grades and areas for this year. You will learn more about them in our parents meetings soon. We count on your punctual attendance. We also encourage you to stay informed by visiting our web page where you will find the latest news, activities to be held and all our notices and newsletters sent home. 

An important topic to address this year too will be the civic campaign for respect and punctuality that we should all join. We ask you for your cooperation so that everybody can be exactly at the stated time for all the activities; therefore, we need you to understand that all of us are expected to be strict on this matter. We would also like to remind you of the regulations to bear in mind when dropping off and picking up passengers. Remember that the school opens at 7:30 a.m. and it is not allowed to drop off students prior to this time as we cannot take responsibility for their security.  

Here are the main activities going on this month: 

10	Integration Activity for 7th and 8th at Pachacamac Swimming teams begin practicing Start of volleyball intergroups championship at Trener 2
11	Integration activity for 5th / 6th grade
12	Start of Psychomotricity sessions at Domenack for 1st graders
13	Music Performances for primary
14	17 year-old category soccer team camping (ending Sunday)
17	End of Workshop registration PK & K start Psychomotricity sessions at Domenack   1st , 4th, 7th grade Parents’ Meeting (7:00 p.m. sharp)
18	2nd, 5th, 11th grade Parents’ meeting (7:00 p.m. sharp)
20, 21	Easter – no classes
24	Start of workshops, religion (except for 3rd grade), remedial classes and advice hour sessions Election process for delegates begins (6th grade up)
25	3rd and 8th grade Parents’ Meeting (7:00 p.m. sharp)
26	10th grade Parents’ Meeting (7:00 p.m. sharp) Lecture on Independence and Autonomy for Kindergarten teachers and parents
27	Psychomotricity Walk for 2nd grade ADECOPA Opening Ceremony 6th and 9th grade Parents Meeting

 We will be sending additional details on these and other activities. Tenth graders will begin working on their research paper and the Psychopedagogical Department will be conducting group evaluations on 9th graders this month.

CIRCULAR 003/08 - Cronograma de marzo

 Estimados padres y madres de familia: 

Ante todo, deseamos agradecer su colaboración en el proceso de matrícula, tanto por Internet como los días 28 y 29 de febrero en las reuniones con los tutores. 

Para este año tenemos, como siempre, muchos planes en los diferentes grados y áreas, que les iremos comunicando en las reuniones de padres de familia, en las cuales contamos con su asistencia puntual. Asimismo, los invitamos a mantenerse informados a través de nuestra página web acerca de actividades y novedades, donde también podrán encontrar todas nuestras circulares. 

Queremos reforzar nuevamente la campaña cívica por el respeto y la puntualidad, y le pedimos su colaboración para que todos cumplamos la HORA EXACTA en todas las actividades; así como comprensión para aceptar la estrictez necesaria en este tema. Les pedimos colaborar con las normas para la entrada y salida y les recordamos que el colegio abre a las 7:30 a.m. por lo cual no podemos responsabilizarnos de los chicos que lleguen antes de esa hora. 

Asimismo, les pedimos redoblar esfuerzos para mejorar la amabilidad y el respeto en el trato desde la entrada del colegio con todos sus miembros.

24	Inicio talleres, clases de religión (excepto 3º), asesorías y nivelaciones Inicio de elecciones alumnos delegados a partir de 6º

De estas y otras actividades, como las clases de psicomotricidad en el agua que se realizarán en inicial y 1º, les informaremos más adelante con más detalle. También les informamos que los alumnos de 10º inician su proceso de monografía y el psicopedagógico inicia su trabajo de evaluaciones grupales con 9º este mes.
