Newsletter 010/08 – Family Day

 

Monterrico, May 9^th, 2008 

Dear Trener Family: 

This Saturday May 24^th, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., we will celebrate our Family Day.  We really hope adults and kids can spend a great day at our site in Pachacamac. 

Families will be organized in six teams or colors and we will have games and activities for all ages. Each team will have the opportunity to stop by each of the game stations throughout the morning. 

This year we are counting on the participation of the youngsters to support the members at some of the game stations. In addition, we will also have music, merriment and other surprises for every one. We will also have kiosks with anticuchos, picarones, sandwiches, desserts, pastas and drinks. 

For the ones who would like to, we will have buses leaving from the school in Monterrico at 9:00 a.m. and they will be back at 4:00 p.m. at the latest. There will be another bus leaving from Trener 1 at 10:30 a.m. for the students who have previous activities at school from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m.  For those who would like to take the bus we are hiring, we ask you to send us the money (9 soles per person – child or adult) in a closed envelope indicating the name and grade of your child, by Wednesday May 21^st at the latest so we can confirm the number of buses needed.  For those who do not confirm their reservation by sending in the payment, we cannot guarantee that their space will be held. For those families that would like to go by car or with friends, there will be enough space in the parking lot.  (See map attached.) 

Moreover, we recommend you to take caps, sunblock, repellent, and if you want, blankets for the grass or picnic chairs; we really want you to feel comfortable and happy. Due to the nature of the activities, it is important that all students are accompanied by their parents or an adult who will be responsible for them.

CIRCULAR 010/08 – Family Day

 Querida familia TRENER: 

El sábado 24 de mayo, de 9:30 a.m. a 4:00 p.m., celebraremos el Family Day.  Esperamos pasar un lindo día, chicos y grandes, en nuestra sede de Pachacamac. 

Nuevamente estaremos organizados en seis equipos o colores y tendremos juegos y actividades para todas las edades. Cada equipo tendrá la oportunidad de pasar por cada una de las seis estaciones de juegos a lo largo de la mañana.                         

Este año seguiremos contando con la participación de los chicos mayores como apoyo en algunas de las estaciones junto con los miembros de la comisión. Asimismo, tendremos música, alegría y otras sorpresas para todas las edades. Tendremos también quioscos de anticuchos, picarones, sandwiches fríos, dulces, pastas y bebidas. 

Para todos los que deseen, saldrán autobuses desde el local de Trener 1 a las 9:00 a.m. y estarán de regreso a más tardar a las 4:00 p.m.  Habrá otro bus que saldrá a las 10:30 a.m. para los alumnos que tengan otras actividades más temprano. A los que soliciten viajar con el transporte que estamos contratando, les pedimos enviar el dinero (9 soles por persona – niño o adulto) en un sobre cerrado, indicando nombre y sección de su hijo(a), a más tardar el miércoles 21 de mayo, para confirmar la cantidad de autobuses necesaria.  No nos responsabilizamos por el espacio para las personas que no hayan confirmado su traslado, realizando el pago correspondiente.  De todos modos, los que deseen ir con su carro o con amigos, contarán con espacio de estacionamiento.  (Ver mapa adjunto.) 

Asimismo, les recomendamos llevar gorra, protector solar, repelente y, si desean, mantas para el pasto o sillas de pic-nic; queremos que se sientan cómodos y contentos. Dada la naturaleza del paseo, es importante que todos los alumnos vayan acompañados de sus padres o algún adulto que se haga responsable de ellos. 

Desde ya nos alegramos de contar con la presencia de toda la familia TRENER. Como siempre, esperamos que en este día triunfen la amistad, el compañerismo y la alegría.
