Dear Parents,
We hope that everyone
enjoyed our “Family Day” and would like to thank all the
students and parents that contributed to its success. Please

Below, you will find
the main activities to be held this month. Prekindergarten and
Kindergarten students will be celebrating Father’s Day this
month too. We send our best wishes to all the fathers of Trener
School on this very special day! Happy Father’s Day!!!
This month we will
holding many parents’ meetings in order to inform you
about some special activities we will be having in certain
grades. For example, we will have a special meeting with the
tenth grade parents to tell them about the trip to England their
children may go on this summer. An important group of students
of the first four classes (2005-2007) has already taken part of
this program and we can recommend it to you based on their
positive experiences. Also, you will be able to speak with you
son/daughter’s homeroom teachers in person on June 14th,
Report Card Day, and discuss your child’s academic
performance for the first trimester.
During this month,
our counselling office will continue with psycho-pedagogical
evaluations and prevention campaigns in the different grades.
Additionally they will be working with 10th and 11th
graders on vocational orientation. These students have been
visiting some universities that they have selected and will
participate in the Vocational Fair to be held on June
6th. This is a great opportunity to help them
make important decisions on this matter. Students in grades PK-8
will not come to school that day. Ninth graders will only come
to school to meet their advisor and work on their essay.

In addition, interclass sports games for
students in grades 7-9 will continue. Ninth graders will begin

En esta circular les informamos de las
actividades del mes de junio, mes en el que celebraremos el día
del padre con las papás de inicial y sus hijos e hijas.
¡Feliz Día desde ya a todo los papás!
Queremos resaltar las reuniones de
padres de familia que tendremos para informar de actividades
especiales en algunos grados. Especialmente, queremos mencionar
la reunión para padres de 10º sobre el viaje a Inglaterra en el
que pueden participar sus hijos este verano. Ya ha participado
un grupo importante de alumnos desde la primera hasta la cuarta
promoción, y en base a sus experiencias podemos recomendarles
mucho esta alternativa. De manera particular, además los tutores
y las tutoras se estarán reuniendo con ustedes para entregarles
el primer informe este sábado 14.
Durante este mes, el
psicopedagógico está continuando su labor de evaluación y
prevención en los diferentes grados, así como trabajando con los
alumnos de 10º y 11º el aspecto de orientación vocacional. Los
alumnos de estos grados vienen realizando una serie de visitas a
un grupo de universidades elegidas por ellos dentro de este
marco, además de que participarán en la Feria Vocacional
que se realizará este viernes 6 y que constituye una
interesante oportunidad para ellos. Ese día los alumnos de PK
a 8º no asistirán al colegio. Los alumnos de 9º asistirán
solamente a su reunión con el(la) asesor(a) de su ensayo
argumentativo.
