6ºC en Lunahuaná

Día 1

Partimos a las 8:50 a.m. del Colegio a Lunahuaná. A mitad de camino paramos en un grifo a ir al baño y comprar una sola cosa. Luego fuimos a Incahuasi y subimos a un cerro y nos explicaron cómo se hizo una ciudad de piedra y barro. Luego nos instalamos en el hotel y después de almuerzo nos dividimos en dos grupos. Uno se fue a ver al apicultor. Allí vimos abejas y cómo se colecta la miel. El otro se fue a una bodega de pisco, les explicaron el proceso y pisaron uvas. Luego volvimos al hotel, cenamos y ahorita estamos en la hora estudio.

We started our trip almost 9 o’clock. After more than one hour we stopped at a gas station for a while. Then we continued our trip until we arrived to Incahuasi, where we explored and collected information about the past. We also climbed a small mountain there. We continued and after one hour we finally arrived to the hotel where we ate lunch. Then we divided into groups and did some traditional activities of Lunahuana. We finished the activities two hours later and we went back to the hotel. We had dinner and then study time.

Today we learned many things. The first thing we did was to go to Incahuasi, the place where the Incas ruled the valley. Then we went to learn about wine making and stepped on grapes with our feet. Next we went to see the bees and we saw the queen bee. We learned about them and we tasted some honey. We went back to the hotel, had dinner, studied and then I’m going to go to sleep.

Salimos del colegio Trener a las 8:45 de la mañana. Después de 40 minutos pasamos por Cero Azul. A las 11:57 de la mañana y llegamos a Incahuasi donde nos contaron varias cosas del este lugar. En este caso nos tuvimos que separar en los dos grupos ya preparados. Salimos de ahí a las 12:48 p.m. y llegamos al hotel a las 13:07 p.m. Organizamos los cuartos y 10 minutos después bajamos a almorzar. Nos dijeron 30 minutos para descansar y preparar nuestras cosas para las visitas de la tarde (ver a las abejas y conocer acerca del vino). Cuando los grupos terminaron esas dos actividades actividades nos dirigimos al hotel. Tuvimos una hora libre, cenamos a las 7:30 p.m. y después estudiamos.

Día 2

Today my friends and I went to a farm to harvest “nísperos”. My group received sticks used to get to the branches of the tree. We chose the biggest tree of all. We collected lots of “nísperos” from our tree. The driest ones were considered the sweetest ones. I really enjoyed this experience and I highly recommend it.

My experience in the river fishing shrimp was very good because I liked being under the water and it was very exciting. One thing I liked was to swim, and looking for the shrimp was very interesting. We didn’t catch any but we saw a lot!

La actividad de ciclismo en ruta fue una experiencia divertida. La mayoría montó en bicicleta, pero algunos prefirieron no hacerlo o pararon en el camino. El recorrido subía y bajaba. De ida fue más subida y de vuelta más bajada. Los instructores y profesores ayudaban si había algún problema. Subimos el cerro y visitamos una momia. El bus también estaba para ayudar a los que estaban caminando. Al final todos terminaron colaborando con esta actividad.

Cuando entramos a la zona de cuyes nos echaron un desinfectante en la planta de las zapatillas y nos pusieron una bata para entrar. Luego de eso nos explicaron y nos enseñaron un poco acerca los cuyes. Después nos dieron comida para darle a los cuyes. Al final nos dejaron cargar los cuyes un rato y luego devolvimos las batas y nos fuimos.
